Vanity Network V3 Information
We're looking forward to introducing you to our V3 Launch and are aware a lot of you have questions regarding certain things. Hopefully this post will assist you with some of your queries.
Will I lose all my items in V3?
Yes! No items will be carried over to our V3 server, it will be a completely fresh start and you'll need to earn your items from the ground up.
Will I get my cars from V2 back?
Yes! This is going to work slightly different than previous new versions. Any vehicle you currently have in your garage on our V2 server will be the ones you'll receive when we launch our V3. Our compensation plan will go as follows:
1. Open a ticket under "V3 Compensation".
2. When a staff member comes into your ticket, you'll need to share your screen in the V2 server and show the vehicles you own on your phone.
3. The staff member will screenshot your vehicles and post them in the ticket.
4. When our V3 server launches, a staff member will contact you in your ticket to give you your vehicles within 72 hours of the server launching. This will be done in order, so please be patient.
Can I remember people/experiences from V2?
No! All your previous memories are to be forgotten. This includes past beef, storylines and players you've met as well as any knowledge you may have of anything else from V2.
Will there be an age limit in V3?
Yes! You must be 16 or over to join Vanity Network. Players who have previously played and show a high level or RP/understanding of our rules may be allowed to play under staff discretion. Please open a ticket in our discord if you're a previous player who is currently under 16. If you are a credible roleplayer who is mature and under the age of 16 with references to provide, please open a ticket in our discord.
Will the server be whitelisted for V3?
Straight from the release of V3, we will be enabling a 'soft whitelist', meaning you'll need to be in the discord to play our server. A few days into V3, once people are settled, we are planning to start our part time whitelist again. This means the server will be whitelisted from 18:00 - 02:00 and public from 02:00 - 18:00. Any player with 12 hours+ playtime with no major rule breaks will be considered for automatic whitelist without an application if a ticket is opened.
How will the criminal/gang scene work in V3?
For our V3, we have decided to scrap the traditional 'Kingpin Association'. Every item/weapon can be crafted, found or purchased within RP without the need of anyone above them telling them what to do/how to do things. This gives our criminals/gangs a chance to grind to the top by simply putting in the hours and the work. We are putting massive amounts of trust in criminals/gangs to be able to do their own thing. It's down to you to take your crew to the top!
Will I lose my current job?
The only only people who will carry jobs over to our V3 are the following:
Police.
NHS.
Current paid business owners.
Anyone not listed will need to start fresh and find a new job within roleplay.
Will I receive my extra character slots back in V3?
Yes! This will work the same way as cars. You'll be required to show your amount of characters on our V2 loading screen. A staff member will confirm this and your extra slots will be assigned on our V3 server within 72 hours of launch.
Will we keep clothing we've imported?
Unfortunately we don't have any plans to keep previous imported clothing from V2. This is a fresh start on an entire new build and we want to keep things fresh without bringing back every aspect of V2, this includes clothing. If you're wanting to import some new clothing in our V3 server, details will be available further down the line.
What is 'TMC'?
TMC stands for 'The Modding Collective' and is our framework provider for our V3 server. Our previous framework was 'BJCore' and is actually made by the same developers. The TMC framework is one of the most optimised, detailed and user-friendly frameworks available on the FiveM platform. With this, we're able to bring you enhanced roleplay with scripts only a handful of servers can show-off. A few of the things you can expect are:
1. An entire new drug system including different strains of weed, meth, coke and more!
2. A prison break system, designed for you to have multiple prison escape routes.
3. The ability to customise your own office/apartment with different themes depending on your mood.
4. Multiple new things for police, including a new in-depth evidence system, secondary radio channels, in-game commendation rewards, new weapons, new dispatch and even more.
5. Brand new heists, including a progressive system to ensure you're always developing as an individual/gang.
6. A brand new phone, designed to work perfectly on the TMC framework which will include your bank, twitter, a business directory and even more.
7. Entire new business management. You can now control your entire business that you own by having access to the following:
Create new custom roles for your staff (Management, Supervisor, Trainee etc)
Set the pay-grade for each role (This comes directly out of the businesses bank account)
Hire, promote and demote staff from your radial menu wherever you are.
Order food/items directly to your store to be delivered by other players.
And so much more!
8. An entire rep-based system allowing you to always be grinding/developing in your characters lifetime.
9. Multiple crafting tables all used for something different: Generic crafting, weapon crafting and more.
10. The money-wash local has 7 different locations, these are different depending on the day of the week. The local will be at that same location every week on that specific day.
11. An entire new UI triggered by the your 'E' key. If there is something to interact with, you'll see a red symbol on the bottom left of your screen. Just press 'E' and you'll be able to interact with it. Thirdeye is no longer a thing!
12. Three different recycling centres that are all reputation based. Spend time in the first recycling centre, and sooner or later you'll get access to the next one. The better recycling centres are smaller, which means less walking and give you more items.
13. The ability to make multiple bank accounts as well as joint bank accounts with your friends.
14. An entire new mining system with ores you can actually see. This place will be your best friend in V3.
15. The ability to own your own stores and vending machines further down the line. This includes placing your vending machine in locations you want, handling the stock inside and taking your profits.

This is the future of our server and we have huge plans to actively develop this build going forward. We have no further plans for any future builds/versions on the GTA5/FiveM platform.
